Just read your free e-book. Appreciate the being real about the fact that ADD is no gift. Especially your acknowledgment that it is unrelenting and never mastered. Was diagnosed in June of this year, and I succumbed to the relief of the diagnosis and the idea that I could “get better”. Months later feeling that old familiar depression, because really not much has changed despite knowledge, medication, etc. Now slowly making the climb out into a new reality of acceptance and humor. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks!

      Glad you liked the e-book.

“I succumbed to the relief of the diagnosis and the idea that I could
“get better”. Months later feeling that old familiar depression…” – I referred to this experience as the ‘oh shit’ moment. You have an explanation for the chaos of your life but you then realize that you have to live with this explanation for the rest of your life.

And life really does get better…it just takes time.
